For me, meditation works wonders. It resets my emotions by clearing the mind. It centers, and calms me down. No wonder it’s been used for thousands of years by people all over the world. If nothing else, meditation will give you an opportunity to spend some quality quiet time alone by yourself.
Here is a great tip for getting positive reinforcement at the beginning of your day. On a piece of paper, start writing down all the thoughts that come into your mind for a few minutes. Once you’re done, go through the list and cross out any negative thoughts you may have written down. This can be done every day to reinforce your positive thinking and give you some insight into your state of mind.
No matter how powerful your positive thoughts are, being surrounded by a negative environment will make things harder. That’s why positive associations are so important. Try to surround yourself with positive, like minded people. At least one person will make a big difference. Your combined positive energy will be much stronger united, then individually.
